About Andrea
Placeholder — a real portrait goes here before launch.
I’m Andrea Glass, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in private practice in Crawford County, Indiana. I opened The Little Green Door to create a small, quiet space for people who are ready to do honest work — and who want the person sitting across from them to take it seriously.
How I work
I came to this work because I’ve seen what happens when people are given room to tell the truth about their lives. My style is warm, unhurried, and direct when directness helps. I don’t think therapy is about fixing anyone — I think it’s about understanding yourself well enough to choose what comes next.
My training is primarily in EMDR for trauma and in Gottman-informed work for couples. Both approaches are grounded in evidence, and they give clients something real to hold onto between sessions.
Who I see
I work with adults and with couples. I see people navigating:
- Past trauma, including PTSD and childhood experiences that still show up in adult life
- Anxiety that has stopped feeling manageable
- Grief and loss
- Couples in conflict, or in repair after an affair
- Couples facing hard transitions — new parenthood, empty nest, illness, career shifts
- People asking harder questions about their own lives
